Postpartum Planning
a one hour private, virtual session for you and your birth partner(s)
Unsure where to start in your postpartum plan?
Our session together is a great Starting place to open up discussion with your partner and extended family. Discuss how and when boundaries to set, relationship troubleshooting, what convos to have,
We will talk through expectations for postpartum, and create a support plan based on the support you have and creative options on.

Postpartum 201 (in home)
a two and a half hour private session for you and your birth partner(s)
What will we practice and prepare?
A one on one deeper dive into postpartum preparation, including basic baby care, feeding education, (nursing, bottles, pumps, etc.), registry review, how to navigate infant care information, how to choose a pediatrician, and of course, space for all of your questions.

nursery home setup, suggestions, pump assembly demonstration and instruction, storage suggestions

*Available to current birth and postpartum client or students who have taken Class 1 or 2 with me. Must live in the DMV, within 30 minutes of DC center. Must be covid vaccinated.

As an active doula attending births at local DC, Maryland, and Virginia hospitals, birth centers, and homes, I can give you up to date information on your medical providers and your birth facilities common practices.
I have 5 years of experience as a full time birth and postpartum doula, and feel that it is important that families have accessible guidance on their birth experience whether or not they have hired a birth doula or not.
I am able to offer income and wealth based sliding scale rate.
I Believe in Equity
20% of revenue from classes goes directly into the hands of BIPOC, Queer, and disabled community birth workers.
Why? Because birth workers representing marginalized communities know how to best take care of members of their community, and themselves.
These funds go to local doulas caring for local birthing people, midwifery funds, mutual aid requests, and projects geared towards birthing people and their families.
